As we enter a new year, I'm excited and eager to explore the latest trends in wedding design! Let’s dive in as I share what I believe will be the top wedding trends for 2025.
Couples will be mixing bold creativity with classic elegance. Using warm and earthy color palettes, out of the box floral installations, and stunning drapery, this year’s trends definitely reflect a shift toward personalized weddings and memorable guest experiences.
Pantone Color of the Year: Mocha Mousse
If you’re not familiar with the Pantone Color of the Year, here’s a link with more info. So what exactly does the Pantone Color of the Year mean? From Pantone’s website:
"The color we select to be our Pantone Color of the Year is bigger than one region or one sector of design. It is a color we see crossing all areas of design; a color that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude on the part of the consumers, a color that will resonate around the world, a color that reflects what people are looking for, a color that can hope to answer what they feel they need."
We are all about the Mocha Mousse!! This year, Mocha Mousse is setting the tone for weddings, events, and design choices. This color is best described as a rich, neutral brown with undertones of rose, camel, and terracotta. Imagine your favorite hot latte…warm, indulgent, and luxurious! ☕ This shade of mocha will blend perfectly with tones like chocolate, mauve, and copper. You’ll see this color being used in bridesmaid dresses, the cake, table settings, stationery, florals, linens, furniture, and drapery. Using Mocha Mousse as a featured color for your wedding day will give you all the moody glam and earthy luxe vibes!

Bold Floral Creativity
Floral designers will be using this year to flex their creative muscles to design new and innovative floral pieces. Sculptural floral designs will take center stage, with beautiful installations like floral clouds, hanging arrangements, and cascading blooms. Sustainability is always at the forefront, with designers choosing organic, locally sourced blooms when possible. Adding in fresh fruits and vegetables, and earthy elements like rocks, vines, and sand will be trending for sure! I’m ready to see how designers incorporate Mocha Mousse into their designs! While monochromatic and earthy vibes are on the horizon, vibrant color palettes will still be on the rise.

Wedding Attire
I have a passion for fashion! From statement jumpsuits, to bold colors and interesting textures, to three-piece suits, and elevated floral attire — these are just a few of the trends I expect to see. Using pattern play, sophisticated silhouettes, and Hollywood glam is the way to go.
Documentary Style Photography
Couples in 2025 will continue to lean into a documentary-style approach to capturing their wedding day. Classic videography will always be a staple on wedding days, but what about the rise of content creators? These professionals will be able to capture candid moments and behind-the-scenes glimpses on your wedding day. Teaming them up with your videographer will give you the chance to leave your wedding day with a personalized clips capturing all the special moments, creating something fun to post on social media and to revisit on future anniversaries! This trend is affordable and hot, and I am here for it!
Editorial is IN for 2025 Wedding Trends!
In case you didn’t know…editorial design is back! This year, couples will lean into a more dramatic, stylized vibe. It’s all about creating a magazine-worthy aesthetic!
Curved Tables & Interactive Guest Moments
Curved tables will become statement moments at wedding receptions and special events. Instead of opting for a traditional, long, rectangular table - connecting tables together so that they form an “s” shape is a new and fun way to create a softer, more luxurious look! Using patterned linens and plates, edible decor, lush flowers, and clean lines will elevate the entire look. Want to create an Italian inspired dinner party? Add in table lamps, lush food art, embroidery, and candles! For inspiration on how I like to mix textures and patterns, check out this link for a recent Ralph Lauren themed Baby Shower that I had the pleasure of planning. So fun!
Interactive guest experiences will continue to please - from signature cocktails to tasting stations, making sure your guests leave with beautiful memories is a must in my book!
Intimate Celebrations and Multi-Party Events
Traditional, large wedding celebrations will always be a mainstay, but intimate gatherings will remain popular as well. Hosting smaller celebrations will allow for luxury touches that might otherwise be overlooked - giving couples a fun opportunity to indulge! Although intimate gatherings are in, so are full weekend celebrations! Imagine welcome dinners, bridal brunches, and post-wedding pool parties. Hosting a multi-party celebration all weekend gives couples a chance to soak in the moment and spend more time with their friends and family in a relaxed environment. It’s one of the only days/weekends of your life that all your favorite people are together in one place, and they’re there to celebrate you!
Message of Gratitude
As we reflect on the incredible moments we’ve shared, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for each of you. Thank you for your unwavering trust, your support, and the opportunity to be part of such meaningful milestones in your lives. It’s been a privilege to help bring your dreams to life, and we are truly honored to have played a role in creating memories that will last a lifetime. Your love and belief in me inspires everything I do.
Here’s to more beautiful celebrations and unforgettable moments together!
With love,
